InstantHIIT is a lightweight workout timer and structured workout app designed to work offline. InstantHIIT does not require account creation and does not transmit your workout data to the developer.

Summary

InstantHIIT currently:

  • does not require an account
  • does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment information
  • does not send your workout history or settings to the developer
  • does store certain app data locally on your device so the app can function properly

Information the App Stores Locally

InstantHIIT stores the following data on your device:

  • workout settings, such as countdown, work, rest, and rounds
  • sound and haptics preferences
  • workout history, including workout completion details and timestamps
  • streak information derived from your workout history
  • program and custom workout state, including selected programs and custom workouts you create

This information is stored locally on your device using device storage. In the current version of the app, this data is not uploaded to the developer's servers.

Information InstantHIIT Does Not Currently Collect

In the current version of the app, InstantHIIT does not knowingly collect or transmit:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • your precise location
  • your contacts
  • your photos or files
  • account credentials
  • advertising identifiers for ad targeting

InstantHIIT also does not currently include:

  • user accounts
  • third-party advertising SDKs
  • analytics SDKs
  • social features

How the App Uses Device Features

InstantHIIT uses certain device capabilities to provide core app functionality:

  • audio playback for workout cues
  • haptic feedback for workout transitions
  • keep-awake functionality to help prevent the screen from sleeping during active workouts

These features are used locally on your device to support the workout experience.

In-App Purchases and Billing

InstantHIIT offers an optional one-time premium upgrade available for purchase through Google Play Billing. Payment transactions are processed entirely by Google and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. The developer does not receive or store your payment card details.

To manage and verify in-app purchase entitlements, InstantHIIT uses RevenueCat, a third-party purchase management service. RevenueCat receives a randomised device identifier and your purchase receipt to confirm your premium status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or personal workout data. Data Sharing

In the current version of the app, InstantHIIT does not sell, rent, or share your locally stored workout data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Because the app is designed to work offline and does not currently provide account-based syncing, your workout settings and history remain on your device unless you delete them or remove the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because InstantHIIT currently stores app data locally on your device, retention is primarily controlled by you.

You can delete stored app data by:

  • clearing app data through your device settings, if supported by your device
  • using any in-app clear-history functionality that may be available
  • uninstalling the app

In the current version of the app, the developer does not maintain a remote user database for your workout history, settings, or program data.

Security

InstantHIIT is designed to minimize privacy risk by storing app data locally and avoiding unnecessary network transmission of user data.

However, no method of electronic storage or device security is completely risk-free. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device.

Children's Privacy

InstantHIIT is not directed to children under 13, and the app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through a future version of the app, contact the developer using the email address listed above.

Third-Party Services

InstantHIIT currently uses app framework and device-level components required to run the app, including components related to:

  • local device storage
  • audio playback
  • haptic feedback
  • keeping the screen awake during workouts

Based on the current version reviewed for this policy, the app does not intentionally send user workout data to third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing services.

International Users

InstantHIIT is developed in Canada by 1001545134 ONTARIO INC. If you use the app outside Canada, local device storage and privacy protections may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where you use the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time if InstantHIIT changes its features or data practices.

If the app later adds features such as accounts, cloud sync, analytics, payments, advertising, or third-party integrations that change how data is handled, this Privacy Policy should be updated before those changes are released.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
